UX & Website Design

Housing Equality

Overview

The Housing Equality Center of Pennsylvania is a nonprofit organization aimed at eliminating housing discrimination in PA.

They first came to our team at Pixel Parlor to design a microsite based off of their manual for Renters Rights. After a successful creation of that site we followed it up with a microsite for their manual on Landlords Responsibilities.

A year later, we redesigned their main website which was in need of a refresh to bring it up to par with the microsites we had created. The goal of this redesign was to create a modern and cohesive design with clear pathways to important resources.

The strong relationship we cultivated with the client over the past projects provided the opportunity to push the boundaries on their main site and allow us to help them step outside of their comfort zone to implement new fonts and micro-interactions to give the site the modern feel it needed. The UX improvements made it so users have a better understanding of where they need to go to find important information and the backend adjustments have helped the Housing Equality team with their intake processes.
